Lewis Critchley : architect

Lewis Critchley is an RIBA Chartered Architect, committed to creating bespoke, contemporary, well crafted architecture which is inspired by its context and informed by the clients brief.
Prior to establishing the practice in 2019 Lewis was a design and project Architect with Riach Architects, Scott Brownrigg, Glenn Howells, BDP, Aedas and GSSArchitecture, working on projects within the residential, commercial and education sectors.
Past projects have allowed Lewis to develop skills in BIM, and project team management. Lewis is a highly motivated professional and skilled contributor to numerous project types in all project development phases from initial design to construction documentation. Lewis is a progressive
architect combining creativity and the ability to express ideas through a wide range of media.
A team player with good communication skills and academic qualifications, achieving a high first in design in his degree, and also achieved a distinction for his diploma in architecture and graduated as one of the top and highest performing students at Oxford Brookes University with RIBA Presidents Medal nominations. His tutors have said that he has a unique talent, an investigative designer who demonstrates real passion for the exploration and representation of design, whilst demonstrating fluidity of thinking and devotion to a high degree of energy to the production of his work.
Lewis works hard to ensure that projects are well designed, functional, safe and economical. He communicates clearly with clients to ensure that the project designs match their needs. He is passionate about the practice of architecture;
and respects the importance of technological and contextual research in the investigation of architecture and works hard to ensure research informs his work suitably.
Lewis has an eye for detail, accuracy and have been highly regarded by all clients that have worked with him. He has gained experience whilst working for several large and small scale practices working in the residential, commercial, education sectors across the UK.
